Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Halo, a macOS application developed and distributed by Redstoneinvente. By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using Halo, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
When you purchase Halo, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on the number of devices permitted by your selected plan.
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share your license key.
- Reverse engineer Halo except where permitted by applicable law.
- Circumvent licensing, activation, payment, or security mechanisms.
- Use Halo in a way that violates applicable law.
2. Accounts and License Keys
Some purchases may include a license key or other activation credentials. You are responsible for keeping these credentials secure. Redstoneinvente may deactivate licenses that are fraudulently obtained, refunded where required by law, charged back, shared beyond the permitted device limit, or used in violation of these Terms.
3. Subscriptions
If you purchase a subscription, it may automatically renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges and does not normally terminate access already paid for during the current billing period.
4. Lifetime Licenses
A lifetime license provides access to the version of Halo and updates offered under that license for as long as Redstoneinvente continues to operate and support Halo. “Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the product, not the lifetime of the purchaser.
5. Updates and Features
Halo may receive updates, improvements, bug fixes, new features, or changes. Features may be modified, replaced, or discontinued where reasonably necessary for technical, security, compatibility, legal, or product-development reasons. Redstoneinvente does not guarantee that every feature will remain unchanged indefinitely.
6. Third-Party Services
Halo may integrate with macOS features or third-party applications and services. Redstoneinvente is not responsible for outages, changes, restrictions, or discontinuation of third-party services outside its control.
7. Payments
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, including Paddle. Your purchase may also be subject to the payment provider’s applicable terms, billing procedures, taxes, and payment policies.
8. Refunds
Before purchasing, you can use Halo’s 14-day free trial without entering payment details. Please use the trial to confirm that Halo works for your needs and hardware before buying. Any non-waivable statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. See our Refund Policy.
9. Acceptable Use
You may not use Halo to damage or disrupt systems or networks, violate intellectual-property rights, distribute malware, circumvent platform security, or engage in unlawful activity.
10. Intellectual Property
Halo, including its software, user interface, branding, graphics, documentation, and original content, remains the intellectual property of Redstoneinvente except where third-party materials are specifically identified. Purchasing Halo does not transfer ownership of the software or its intellectual property.
11. Availability
We aim to keep Halo functional and supported but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Compatibility may depend on macOS versions, hardware, permissions, APIs, and third-party software.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Redstoneinvente will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from the use or inability to use Halo. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
13. Termination
Your license may be suspended or terminated if you materially violate these Terms. Where practical, we may provide an opportunity to resolve the violation before termination.
14. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated when Halo, our business practices, or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
