A few things to know.
Does my Mac need a notch?
No. Halo includes floating, simulated-notch, shelf, menu-bar and detached surfaces, with display-specific settings.
Which music players work?
The current app detects and controls Apple Music and Spotify. Lyrics depend on availability; online lyric lookup is configurable. Browser and arbitrary app playback are not advertised as supported.
Will every system HUD be replaced?
No. HUD behavior varies by provider, permissions, macOS version and hardware. Native volume and brightness replacement is opt-in and only available when its control backend is supported.
Does Halo always run at 120 fps?
Animations target up to 120 Hz on supported displays. Low Power Mode caps the target at 60 Hz; actual performance depends on hardware, effects and workload.
Can I combine discounts?

Camera access powers the mirror. Automation enables supported music controls. Calendar, clipboard, capture and HUD capabilities have their own permission requirements. Album artwork and optional online lyrics may use network requests.
