Refund Policy
Effective date: September 17, 2026
Halo includes a 14-day free trial with no payment method required. The trial exists so you can evaluate compatibility, features, and whether Halo is right for you before purchasing.
1. No Voluntary Refunds
Except where required by applicable law, purchases of Halo are non-refundable once completed. This applies to lifetime purchases, initial subscription purchases, subscription renewals, education-priced purchases, promotional purchases, and other paid Halo plans.
2. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time to prevent future renewal charges. Cancellation does not create a right to a refund for amounts already charged, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Access normally continues through the paid billing period.
3. Technical Problems or Change of Mind
A technical issue, incompatibility, unused license, accidental purchase, change of mind, or failure to use the available free trial does not by itself create a refund entitlement unless applicable law says otherwise. If you encounter a problem, you can still contact us for technical support.
4. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
If you believe you were charged more than once for the same transaction, charged an incorrect amount, or billed after a cancellation should have taken effect, contact us. We may investigate and correct genuine billing errors. Correcting an erroneous charge is separate from offering a discretionary refund.
5. Refunds Required by Law
Nothing in this policy removes or limits a consumer right that cannot legally be waived. If the law applicable to your purchase requires a refund, cooling-off right, cancellation right, or other remedy, that legal requirement takes precedence over this policy.
6. License Status After a Required Refund
If a transaction is refunded or reversed where legally required, the associated Halo license, subscription entitlement, or activation may be cancelled or deactivated to the extent permitted by law.
7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us or the payment provider before initiating a chargeback where practical. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in the associated license being suspended or revoked, subject to applicable law.
8. Contact
